GlobalRoam partners SingaporeCupid.com to launch cMask service

Singapore, 16 April 2007 - GlobalRoam Group Limited proudly announces its partnership with SingaporeCupid.com to introduce cMask, Singapore’s first ever online 2-way anonymous mobile communications service. cMask enables the members of SingaporeCupid.com to chat with each other via voice and sms on their mobile phones without revealing their real mobile phone numbers.

cMask is the ideal service for online community portals with dating or friendship themes and people with active and social lifestyles as it has been designed to offer users the freedom equivalent to giving out their mobile number, whilst assuring their privacy and confidentiality. Upon sign up, users will be able to request to “cMask” other members. Once the request has been approved, both parties will be assigned a set of cMask numbers of which they can use to contact each other. Each party use the cMask numbers as if it’s the mobile phone number of the other and is empowered to block the other party whenever he/she wishes.

For users, the service allows them to control by whom and when they can be reached, as well as maintaining their number private when they contact others. Simultaneously, it also provides a user-friendly experience for anonymous voice and SMS communication across all mobile phones regardless of mobile networks.
