Singapore, 27th July 2006 – GlobalRoam Group Limited is please to announce that we are the FIRST OTC-quoted company. OTC Capital is a market-making electronic trading platform that allows the over-the-counter trading of shares designed primarily for Small and Medium Enterprises (“SMEs”). “We are the first OTC-quoted company on OTC Capital. With the Group’s positive financial growth posted, we believe that opportunities exist for our growth to continue at a significant rate. Hence our leverage on this admission will help to enhance the profile of the Group and fund our growth strategy,” Clarence Tan, CEO of GlobalRoam Group Limited.

The Company has been admitted to OTC Capital on July 21, 2006. The offer for the shares of GlobalRoam to pre-qualified investors is now open. Subscription will close on August 2, 2006. Trading of the shares on OTC Capital is scheduled to commence on August 7, 2006.

Investors who are interested to invest in companies traded on OTC Capital will have to be pre-qualified, which is a simple process. Investors can be pre-qualified online through POEMS or by completing forms. Pre-qualified investors will then be able to access a restricted-access module for information or trade shares quoted on OTC Capital. POEMS is the internet trading platform of Phillip Securities. The origin of GlobalRoam dates back to 2001 with the formation of an integrated communication services company. Since inception, we have conducted research and development into and started the commercialization of new technologies, and grew our operations through acquisition. In 2003, as a testimony to the potential of our proprietary technology and business, we obtained funding of S$300,000 from the EDB under its Start-up Enterprise Development Scheme (“SEEDS”). In August 2003 we launched our first suite of roaming services, which was targeted at business travelers. By November 2004, our comprehensive range of integrated communication services expanded to include low cost IDD calls for fixed lines and mobile conferencing which enabled users to host conference calls while on the move.

In 2005, we received a second round of funding of S$150,000 from the EDB following the successful commercialization of our proprietary technology. The IDA also granted us a research fund in the same year and we also entered into an exclusive licensing arrangement with NUS. In May 2006, we acquired Fatte Telecom to strengthen our core competence in research and development and intellectual properties. Fatte Telecom (also a “SEEDS” company) was incorporated in May 2004 and its principal activities are research and development, filing of patents and technology licensing.

Our key business offering includes gNum, gCroax and cMask. gNum is a unified communication service encompassing mobile roaming and a host of other complementary services such as SMS, fax-on-demand and conference call. gNum provides a suite of services and assigns a unified contact number to each subscriber so that he could access all the services by just using one single number. gCross is based on GlobalRoam’s patent-pending technology that allows mobile phone users to talk and send SMS to their friends online on Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) softphone or Instant Messaging clients . It offers cost savings to those who wish to reach their overseas friends, as well as convenience of contacting their online acquaintances from any location. cMask is also based on GlobalRoam’s patent-pending technology that allows users to talk and send SMS whilst keeping their privacy without disclosing their phone numbers. Users will be able to control by whom and when they can be reached, as well as to maintain their number private when they contact others through calls or SMS.
