Home Services Launched for Users to Make Low-Priced IDD Calls From Home Country

GlobalRoam announced the launch of its Home Services which allows users to make low cost IDD calls from their home country. Members use their GlobalCredit accounts to use the new service to make overseas calls, even when they are not traveling.

The Home Services encompasses of HomeCall - make IDD calls from fixed lines; and HomeMobile - make IDD calls from users' mobiles. The new service was developed in response to feedback from customers who wished to save further, using GlobalRoam's service in their home country.

The first country to have HomeCall is Singapore , with this service being developed in upcoming countries.

Users are expected to receive significant savings, especially if they are on a free incoming call mobile plan. Call costs to some countries have the same as, or even lower than, the cost of a local mobile call. Users can also enjoy making local mobile calls at lower rates than what is provided in the market currently. GlobalRoam is able to provide such a low cost service through its complex roaming engine that took the company almost two years to complete.
