News Press Release Singapore, 3rd February 2004 GlobalRoam to Showcase Services in CommunicAsia2004

GlobalRoam today announced their participation in CommunicAsia2004 in June, showcasing their range of services available for travelers wishing to stay in touch at cheaper costs.

The focus will be on GlobalRoam's innovative model of having a single account to manage all roaming services. Users will get a pre-paid GlobalCredit account and can use the services of internet, IDD fixed line and mobile roaming. The GlobalCredit account is deducted according to usage. Post-paid corporate accounts are also available for companies interested in managing and lowering their staff's roaming usage.

There are also plans of developing an online store, GlobalStore, to sell travel accessories and other communication services that travelers need to keep in touch. This is to help customers obtain all roaming communication needs from just one convenient location. This online store will be commence concurrently with the unveiling of a revamp of the GlobalRoam website, designed to be more user-friendly than ever.

Clarence Tan, CEO of GlobalRoam commented, "We want to help travelers save costs when they travel overseas, and at the same time, our services must be simple and convenient to use. Thus, our team continues to find ways to streamline our service, with feature enhancements for easy use."

In the next 12 months, GlobalRoam will continue to look for more partners to collaborate with. Current partners include MSN Biz-traveler, WeCallU, Telcom United and others to date. GlobalRoam's partners assist in distribution and/or infrastructure, providing such roaming services to their own customers.
